It is possible to take stem
 cells from
amniotic fluid and reprogram them
 to a more versatile
 "pluripotent"
 state similar to embryonic stem cells and do this
 without
 inserting extra genes,

according to a new study published online in the journal Molecular Therapy on 3 July.
